Atherton: The House of Power is a teen fiction novel written by Patrick Carman. Edgar is a lonely boy who has a special ability to climb the cliffs that divided the three worlds. His home is a humble grove, the only reason he calls it home is because it’s the only one he’s ever known, witch has beautiful high lands and sinister secrets where all the water is regulated by the few privileged. And a wasteland if it exsits life there is less than civilized. Edgar is looking for a lost treasure, with little memory of what he’s been through hidden in the middle of the rock walls witch lomes above the grove, but the treasure is not as glourious as he thought. Soon Edgar finds out that the place he called home, Atherton is not as secur as he could ever expected.

Ink Heart
Inkheart is a young adult story written by Cornella Funke. Meggie and her father Mo have a gift with reading abook out loud, because when they do the  characters seem to lept out of the pages. You can imagine how cool that would be to read your favorite characters out of their world and in to our world. But as many people to come out of the book their haste to the same amount to go in it. And this is where the story begins!. One night Mo meggies father read out loud a book, named InkHeart. A evil dictator, named Capricorn and two other people came out of the binding of the book her mother two cats had to go in their place.  oh and ink heart the move is coming out January 23rd,2009

Coraline is a enchanting and easy book to read written by neil gaiman. she is a spirited girl that loves to explore an when she moves to a new home there is alot to be seen like the garden and the old well but ween it rains the exploration must come indoors. Her Mother and Father are always working so she has to seak something to do and when she finds a small briked up door in a corner of a room, but one night she wakes up and it’s not bricked anymore?                          Plus from the visionary director of The Nightmare Before Christmas; Henry Selick is now the director of Coraline The movie. And it is going to be claymation and fantastic visual effects. wich is going to be realeased on February 6, 2009.                                      Â

The Last Appentice Revenge Of The Witch
The last apprentice series is pretty much a kids horror story, but its worth being scared . Written by Joseph Delaney the story takes place in mid-evil time where old Gregory, the spook, has been in the county for years apprehending witches running away ghosts binding boggarts but all hard working men have to retired and to do that he needs an apprentice. but this isn’t the first attempt; 29 apprentices preceded this one. Some failed worse than others, but make no mistake, they all failed . Will Thomas Ward succeed where 29 failed.His job of learning the differences between benign and malevolent witches is just one part of a spooks job; chasing ghosts and boggarts are another. Thomas must not free Mother Malkin for she is the most EVIL witch in the county………… or will he!
